Hello, I am at work right now waiting for our Computer
Tech people to come look at my computer. My desktop
image is inverted, everything including the taskbar and
desktop image. Has this ever happened to anyone else?
How did this happen? Does it mean I have a virus? I
have already restarted numerous times. PLEASE HELP!
Thanks!

there used to be a small file called 'australia' that if activated would
rotate the screen 180 degrees.. I think that pressing the spacebar or the
escape key disabled it..

This could be video card software. Do you have an icon in the systray (next
to the clock) that enables you to change your display settings? If so it
might have a rotate feature. Or check the Programs menu to see if your video
card is listed. The setting might be there.

There are a number of "prank" or "gag" apps that float around the internet
and cause this type of behaviour too.

Search this news group for messages containing "upside down screen" I recall
reading a similar post a few days ago
