invert selection

A feature in older operating systems I sometimes found useful was the
"invert selection" in the Edit menu (now organize) of Explorer. I do
not recall seeing this in the short time I had Vista and do not see ti
there in 7. Is there any way to get this back? I have resorted to
deleting the entire group and restoring the ones I wanted to keep.

Thanks

It's there at the bottom of the 'Edit' menu, not the 'Organize' button,
as before.
Organize > Layout > tick 'Menu bar' if it's not visible.

Alternatively, press the CTRL button and the Menu will appear. Then simply go to the Edit menu and you will see the "Invert Selection" option. This is the same way that the menu can temporarily appear in IE7 onwards.

I bet the Alt key would work better than the Ctrl key...
