I want to mount my laptop upside down on the ceiling of
my truck. Then I can flip the screen open to view
navigation programs.

How do I permentantly invert the screen image?

The feature you are looking for is USUALLY only found on third party
video cards, and not on integrated chips found on %95 of laptops.
IF you DO have this option, it will be found under it's own tab in
Display Properties/Settings/Advanced, labeled with the name of the
manufacturer or video chip series.

Mind if I ask how many tugs you took off the Jim Beam bottle before
you came up this idea? How do you navigate typing that way, if the
need arises? And won't the screen obstuct views when flipped down?
Seems to me, the last place you would want to glance for instructions
while driving is up.

Thanks for giving me a place to start. I use a logitech
trackman live to move the cursor. I'm working on a field
research project and will not necessarily be driving when
I need reference to the screen. I'm trying to place my
laptop into a small vehicle, in my larger truck I have a
custom made rack to secure the computer so that it is
open constantly. I need to use the smaller vehicle due
to the nature of the research.

Thanks

Dennis
