At boot up
I get a invalid system disk
Replace the disk, and then press any key

I just bought this second hand computer and I only have
the Windows 2000 disk. But never the less, I re-boot
with 2000 disk in the CDROM drive and I receive the same
erro message.

What should I do?

To do a clean install, either boot the Windows 2000 CD-Rom or setup disks.
The set of four install disks can be created from your Win2k CD-rom; change
to the \bootdisk directory on the cd-rom and execute makeboot.exe (from dos)
or makebt32.exe (from 32 bit) and follow the prompts.

When you get to the point, delete the existing NTFS and or other partitions
found. After you delete the partition(s) abort the install, then again
restart the pc booting the CD-Rom or setup disks to avoid unexpected drive
letter assignments with your new install.

Either remove the disk from your floppy and if there is none, your hard drive or Windows is hosed. To boot from the CD, it needs to
be in the boot order in the CMOS settings. It needs to be looked at before the harddrive. Enter your BIOS settings and look for
Boot and set the devices Removable Devices(floppy), then CDROM, then IDE.
