There are a few sites I use to be able to go too but for
some odd reason I am getting a "Invalid Syntax Error"
like it can not find it. "site"
Puzzled ... Appreciate any help on this. And if this
happens to be the wrong group please tell me where to go.

Many Thank!

I have the same problem on my Windows 2003 Server system. Most sites work,
all work in Mozilla, but a few (Amazon.com, my.yahoo.com, google.com are
noted examples) no longer work (throwing the invalid syntax error)except
under strange circumstances, for example, if I send a search request from
the google toolbar with a search string attached to the URL it works, but
just to google.com it does not. Regular yahoo.com works but my.yahoo.com
does not. I have lowered the security, allowed all cookies, turned off
Internet security all to no avail.

My workaround is to use Mozilla, but it pains me fo give up.

Any Help?

IE 6.

Try this: Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Browsing
Uncheck the Enable 3rd party browser extensions

If this clears your problem then find out who the culprit(s) is/are with
these tools.

Let AD-Aware Scan your system for advertising Spyware

and:

SpyBot-S&D

p.s Reset the 3rd party browser setting.

More: This may be caused by a third-party program (adware, spyware,
parasite).
Get AdAware and SpyBot and run them both. Keep them up to date.
