Hi,
I purchased Windows XP OEM with COA on EBAY, but COA product key is coming
up as invalid. He has sent me another one which is valid and have validated
it and registered it and all seems fine.
It seems what he has been doing is selling OEM discs with invalid COA's. As
the OEM discs usually have default product key assigned the COA never matches
OEM disc's. Obviously when I received mine and installed the first thing I
did was check the product key in XP and noticed it didn't match COA, so when
I tried to change it to COA product key it was invalid.
It looks as if he has fobed of hundreds of people with this idea looking
back at his feedback. Even though the posting got taken of ebay from VeRO
programme, I was still luckily able to give negative feedback.
How do I report people like this? As surely it's illegal.
Thanks
Gavin
