Invalid postback or callback argument

Hi,
I am getting a error :
error is
Invalid postback or callback argument. Event validation is enabled using
<pages enableEventValidation="true"/> in configuration or <%@ Page
EnableEventValidation="true" %> in a page. For security purposes, this
feature verifies that arguments to postback or callback events originate
from the server control that originally rendered them. If the data is valid
and expected, use the ClientScriptManager.RegisterForEventValidation method
in order to register the postback or callback data for validation.
I got this error once . I can't reproduce it as this happen at the
production. I followed the same steps.

This error will be solved after removing the EnableEventValidation from my
..aspx page but I want to know why this happen at that time . and not at my
machine.

I think thir error should always come whenever user see that page. but I got
this error only once.
