Hello,

For the past few days I have been unable to get into my
ebay, favorite searches, or to click on an item.

As soon as I try a message comes up telling me that
Explorer has performed an illegal operation and will be
shut down.

When I click on details, I get this (which means nothing
to me):

EXPLORER caused an invalid page fault in
module KERNEL32.DLL at 0167:bff87ede.

Stack dump:

To preface the problem I suppose I should say I did
recently adjust my level of security on explorer and may
have deleted cookies.

Frankly I'm amazed I was able to get into this discussion
board.

Does anyone have any ideas to help a poor schlub?

Thanks ever so much in advance,

Subject: Kernell32.DLL error
Have been getting Invalid Page Faults Kernell32.Dll at 017F:bff87ede
recently. Nothing works except turning the computer off and restarting.
W98SE/IE5.01 SP1.
I suggested that he renamed \Windows\System file "Advert.dll" to
"Advert.d_l", if the file was on his computer.
His reply:
Sure enough, this system file is there and I had just un-installed GoZilla
right after IE5.01 and DSL was installed. No more page faults reported.
