Trying to open a PPS file and receive the following error
message. "(File Name) is not a valid win32 application"

I'm a relative novice. What does this message mean? How
can I fix this problem? Or can I fix this problem?

It sounds as though you may not have Powerpoint or the free PowerPoint
viewer; you'd need one or the other to view the file.

.
I do have PowerPoint viewer 2003. The message seems to
tell me that there is a problem with the file I'm trying
to open.
