Invalid CSV file (no Unicode ID) for csv file

Hello all,

I'm in the process of updating the forest of a Win2000 domain so that I can
add a Win2k3 DC in; ultimately, to upgrade to AD 2003.

The other point is that this is the x64 edition of Windows Server 2003.

The problem is that I copied the x64 files from the CD to the HD of the 2003
box. I mapped a drive on the 2000 box. Since the Server 2003 x64 edition of
adprep will not run on the 2000 box (errored saying it was not a valid win32
exe), I copied the adprep from the Server 2003 Standard (32bit) edition to
the files copied on the 2003 box. Confused yet? :)

So, I ran adprep /forestprep and it works through the schema files until it
errors out with "Invalid CSV file (no Unicode ID) for csv file" I have
Googled for a while, but nothing really specific about this.

Where did I go wrong? Do you need additional files?

Thanks and cheers,

Rich

Figured it out. Wanted to post for posterity,

Used the files off of the Windows 2003 Server standard edition, pretending
the x64 did not exist. It updated the forest and domain fine. Things "seem
ok" now.

Good luck,

Rich
