I upgraded a friends PC to office XP as they were advised
by the guy at PC world to buy it with Win XP pro. Just
making a sale methinks.
Any how. Since doing so, Outlook comes up with a
<directory>\SMBSYNC.DLL is invalid.
It may well be invalid - but it's not to be found anywhere
on the hard disk. I've gone in to the Add-in's section to
remove it. It ain't there to remove. I've done a regedit
to look for a reference to it and can't find it there.
Any idea on how to remove it?
It doesn't stop outlook from working - it's just a pain in
the ass.
