Introductory Slideshow

Is frontpage capable of having a "timebased" introductory slideshow in
beginning and before navigating automatically to a homepage of a site?
If yes please guide as to how the same may be done?

Yes - there is a wizard for this. But you may may find that your idea of a
slide show before you let people look at the website (which is what they
really want to do) may mean that many people just press the back button
