I'm starting a new thread on an old problem. It seems sometimes
threads die out, and you get more responses on new threads.
Not to beat a dead horse, this is an issue thats been discussed on 2
other threads we've had ever since our virgin installs of 2 Win2K3
boxes DC's which refuse to replicate as true intrasite DC's should.
Replication ONLY happens at 15 minute intervals.
Many have given very good suggestions which were checked or tried
without positive results. Both boxes DNS servers were configured with
the AD wizards an appear ok. Replication works fine at 15 min
intervals, but there appears to be no change notification working. It
has been confirmed both boxes are within the same site by various diag
tools
I'm at my last staw with this, and am asking the community here if
they have any other suggestions before we go through all the nonsense
of getting a PO, or whatever is needed (gotta love municipal red
tape!) to give MS support $250 and get this resolved.
Can you say Total Cost of Ownership = +$250. And Balmer says windows
has a lower TCO....
