Does anyone know how I can link files on a drive so that everyone can open
the files in the folder that is linked, but can't move to any other folder
within that drive?
It is set up on our intranet.

If you yourself have permissions on the Server, you can in turn change the
folder's permissions to read only for all users or certain users. If you do
not, you may want to contact your Server Administrator to have them do it.

The folder that users need to reach are inside other folders which they
should not be able to access. so in order to let them get to the inside
folder everyone has permissions, but they shouldn't be able to get outside of
that folder. Is there a way to block that way.

You need to post this to the Windows Server newsgroup, as this is not an FP related issue. If you
want to use FP, then you have to create subweb/subsite and then set permissions, but users will
still need access to any folder (or nested folders) that contains the content you wan them to have
access to.
