I am having a problem with html being received incorrectly on my Intranet.
IE receives (intermiitently) garbled portions of the HTML, usually about 3-4
chars, but enough to screw up the whole page.

Externally, I have not seen this happen.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Is your intranet using HTTP Compression? You might want to watch the
traffic as it goes by; see www.fiddlertool.com/fiddler for one way of doing
so.

As far as I know it is notusing compression, but not sure about that.

I tried using fiddler, but it really isn't telling me anything.
It shows the same thing that the browser is showing.

Using IIS 5.1, XPsp1

If Fiddler shows the traffic is garbled junk, then there's either something
wrong with the server or your routers/network. Fiddler operates at the HTTP
layer and doesn't use IE, so if it shows the traffic is bad, the traffic is
messed up before it gets to your computer.
