IS THERE A WAY FOR US TO HAVE A USER TO USER COMMICATION
IN 2OOO? I WAS THINKING OF ONE LIKE WE HAD IN WINDOWS 98>

Hi - not sure what you mean. You can use "net send" if you want to send a
popup message to any WinNT-based computer running the messenger service - go
to a command prompt and type in

net send /?

for parameters.

Or do you mean Winchat?

Please don't type in all caps - it's hard to read and is considered
'shouting'.

Thanks for the response. i would like to use winchat but
it asks for a password of some kind. I have tried all the
passwords that are associated with our server and each
individual user and none of them seem to work.

I tried using net send and it tells me that there is
something wrong with the alias. I do not know what that
means.

I haven't used winchat in ages but don't remember being prompted for a
password -

What syntax did you use?
