interupted clips on WMM

I just downloaded a lengthy clip from my Canon ZR400 to my Dell PC using WMM.
But when I went to look at the clip, it was broken up into dozens of short
clips, some as short as 2 seconds, some as long as 8 mins.

Any ideas what caused this and how to fix it?

On your "Import File" screen....
uncheck..."Create Clips For Video Files"
