Intert connection

On our PC we have 4 user accounts. On two of these accounts when they log on a connection to the Internet starts automatically and when it fails in continues to attempt to log onto the Internet. The other 2 accounts don't have this problem. How can I find the prog that is causing this problem to stop it logging on?. I've checked the obvious one's I/E Explorer and E-Mail settings.

Check msconfig to see if the programs are listed there, Start Menu, and
check the registry under
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run, also
\RunOnce.
