Internet wont let me download msn

everytime i try to download/install msn from the microsoft website i get this
error message..

There was a problem with this installation. Windows Live Suite was not
installed.
System Error details
code 0x80040154
description: class not registered


not sure whats wrong or how i can download it..? i just bought this new
laptop with vista and not sure what to do?

You can bypass this by downloading and running the following .msi file:
http://messenger.jonathankay.com/redir/wlm85.asp

After the installation is complete, the Windows Installer will just disappear and you can
find Windows Live Messenger on the Start menu.
