The architecture like this:

--66.159.x.x1-- Linksys Router __ (192.168.1.x)
Internet ---
--66.159.x.x2--Win2K3VPN ----(another NIC goes to
192.168.1.x)

- I configured every thing pretty much in default. And every time from
Internet we tried to connect to the VPN server's Internet interface, on
client side,
it was stopped right on 'Verifying Username & Password'...and then error
"721".

Please help
Thanks!!

Can't access the remote network from VPN clients

Symptoms: Your VPN client can ping/access the server but not other computers
in the remote network.

Resolutions: 1) if you have two NICs in the VPN server, you may need to
enable IP Routing. To do this, go to the RRAS>the Properties of the
server>IP, check IP Routing.
2) Make sure you don't uncheck Use the remote default gateway on VPN
client's VPN connection.
3) Make sure VPN client's LAN and the remote LAN are using the different IP
range and subnet.
4) Check routing table for troubleshooting.

Hi all,

I found that on the Intranet Interface, if we take out 'Gateway' setting,
the
VPN server will accept incoming VPN connection from Internet client.

What happened that Public Interface and Intranet Interface both have
gateway setting, since that, when the Internet VPN client trying to make
connection to Public Interface, the VPN server MIGHT use Intranet Interface
to reply the authentication!!!!!! That was THE CAUSE!!!

- Question:
- any one know
-> disable Windows 2000 VPN's filtering ? because when you activate Windows
2000 VPN
there will be bunch of filtering enabled that allow only certain port on
public interface work in VPN!!
-> 'how to' step to request a computer certificate ?
-> 'how to' step configure server & client to authenticate base on computer
certificate?

Regards,
J
