Internet Transfer Control (Inet)

I have been creating Access databases for about 10 years. A few days ago I
had a reason to use the Internet Transfer Control (available in the Office XL
developer Edition) which worked just fine in an Access form. The only
problem is the application that I put it in is not a runtime program. When I
tried it on my client's system the control did not exists. I transferred the
control to windows and registered it which seemed to work but when I opened
the form it said I wasn't licensed to use it. Is there anyway to license the
control without having to install the runtime?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Slightly off-topic, watch out for the Internet Transfer Control; there have
been reports that IE7 breaks it. I've experienced this myself, and have
read several other reports, but I don't know if it affects all IE7 machines
or only a subset of them. In any case, reverting to IE6 will make it work
once again.

After registering the control on the client's computer the control did not
work, even though it was available to put on the form. But once I
transferred my original form back to the client it worked.

Thanks,
