I have a small WIRED network . Everything was working fine, until I had to
move one of the computers! (My daughter's) The Host computer has two nics,
and is running XP home. I had internetconnection sharing checked, but
somehow something happened and now I cant activate it. My daughter's
computer has two nics and is running XP home.
The home network is working and files and printers are shared with no
problem.
Please help. My daughter can't get online to neopets!!!

If you have Intel Anypoint as I do, it may be that you need to reinstall the software. On occasion I have had to reinstall the software and one of the things required is to install the ISS Server that is the Internet Sharing System. Be sure you did not make your daughter's computer the host. If you are not Intel Anypoint, possibly the system/software is similar

Hope this helped

I solved a similar problem by following a recommendation I got here:
abandon ICS, which is no more reliable than anything else from Microsoft,
and get a router to handle the distribution of internet sharing. Not free,
but no problems since I did that.
