I have Windows XP Home Edition on my computer, I use Trend Micro Net Security
and windows is asking me to install Service pack 2.
Do I need to install Service Pack 2, even with having Trend micro Net??

Don't know if you care, but I believe that Microsoft will eventually stop supporting
any XP installations that have not been upgraded to Sevice Pack 2.

Before you install Service Pack 2, do your best to verify that your system is
clean of viruses and spywares. You could just update your TrendMicro Net Security
and scan with it and then install, update and scan with both of these Anti Spyware
programs and remove any spywares that are found.

Some people think that it is prudent to uninstall any Anti Virus and third-party Firewall
programs before installing SP2 and then re-install them afterwards. I just shut down my
Zone Alarm Security Suite before installing SP2 and all went well.
