Internet Search Engines

Just with in the last few weeks I have not been allowed to
go to normal search engines (i.e. Google, Askgeeves,...)
When I try the computer comes back with "address not
found" or something like that. At work I am able to get
to Google so why can't I get there at home? Is there
something wrong with my browser/computer? Please let me
know if you can. Thanks
