internet reset

I'm trying to download some short films that takes several hours. But after
a few hours I get a message saying that the internet has reset itself. Even
while I'm using the internet. It just started doing this a week ago. I
don't know why it's doing this.

Are you connecting by dial-up?

In IE, Tools | Internet Options | Connections
Click Settings in the Dialup section, then click Advanced.
Uncheck both boxes.
