Hi all,

Does anyone know what I can do when my "home page" is
constantly changed and my "Favorites" continually have a
number of porn sites added to them.

I have searched within the "c" drive for any files
containing the names of the sites but nothing comes up.
Even searching in the registry draws a blank.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Ray

Ray,

This is most probably caused by a CoolWebSearch trojan. Get CWShredder from Kelly's site:
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm [Scroll from the bottom as this is a recent added Tip]

The updated version of this utility will be available from www.merijn.org. [not accessible now]

Probably Spyware. Download and run AdAware or Spybot and scan your pc with
that.

Thankyou for the advice. I have downloaded CWShredder and
it found a few items. Will wait and see next time I
startup.

Thanks again for the help
