Internet Problems

Hi all.
I seem to be having some internet problems, that appeared to have started last night.
Half of the internet seems to be not working.
So far I can't access my online banking, hotmail, my ebay, my own site and e-mail (www.cache-community.co.uk), and various other sites seem to have dissappeared.
I just get "Connection Failure error" in Firefox, and "The page cannot be displayed" in IE.
I have not changed any settings, or actually done anything to my computer.

I just want to know if anyone else is experiencing the same thing.
Maybe theres a nasty virus going about, just killing servers.

I had some internet problems last nigh too, it wasnt working, we had a power cut for an hour and a half

I have now tweaked some setting on my AV and firewall, and it has let me now use the sites, that i couldnt get before.
My computer seems to have been blocking me from accessing secure web pages, although i do not know why, as i have never changed any security settings.
Although my web server at cache-community.co.uk is still offline, of that i am sure.

Aquinox hosting, although i have spoken to them now this morning, and it seems they are having trouble with reliability of the company that they rent server space off over in the states. They have assured me though that they are now taking steps to find another host, which would be able to offer more reliability.

May have been an Automatic update to your AV or firewall and has changed settings Automatically without you knowing...I know this has happened to me and i wracked my brain trying to work out why i couldn't access certain sites..and after looking in settings and firewall, found an Auto update had altered some of my settings....
