Internet Password

I do not know a lot about XP but a friend asked me to set up her internet account in XP and during the set up I ,somehow, managed to get the password doubled. I have set up an administrators account but am still unable to delete out the double password. I have completely deleted the set up and started over and that same password keeps coming back after I type in the right one. Does anybody have any suggestions. My email address is (e-mail address removed)
 
This is a security feature so no one guesses how many characters make up the
password.
