Hello Chaps,

A few weeks ago I downloaded a programme which was
supposed to do all sorts of wonderful things to improve
the efficiency of my ageing Toshiba Satellite notebook. I
didn't like it so almost immediately uninstalled it, but
it left it's web site as my home page. When I clicked on
Internet Options to re-set my home page I found that
the "General" tab was missing so I was unable to. I can
only assume that their programme modified my browser on
purpose. I managed to get rid of their Home Page by
saying yes when MSN asked to make theirs my home page,
although it will not load properly and always gives an
error message, but I still have no "General" tab on my
Internet Options. I have re-installed my OS, IE5 and
upgraded to IE6 all to no avail, still no "General" tab so
I am stuck with an MSN error message every time I open
IE. I am rumming Windows ME and IE6. Any ideas how to
get my "General" tab back?

Thanks,

Bill
