OH I WISH MY PROBLEM WAS THIS EZ ! Yes you can , do both,
that is. Hopefully you saved your System Recovery CD's
that came with your computer when you bought it? If not ,
you can order them . Another option is to use your system
restore . Point to start , accessories , system tools ,
and click on system restore .Use a date marked in bold
that you know for sure your PC was working correctly , and
you will get your settings back. Then you can delete the
cookies and reset your homepage.
OPTION 2 :
Point to start , then search (for files or folders), and
type in cookies. Make sure that you open the yellow cookie
folder , not the white index folder.Once open , highlight
all the files except for the index. Then delete them all.
You should only have your cookie index folder left in
there after that. If you need to reset your homepage ,
most sites have a link button specific to do this. I just
click on that ( my yahoo ) and it's done. I hope this
information has helped .

Hey, check out the registry key -
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet
Explorer

delete the Internet explorer and close regedit.
this reg line is only created when a program creates a
policy for IE.

cheers
Raf
