In my Internet Options on the General Tab the buttons to change Home Page are
greyed out. Any help to restore same.

First, try going over to this reg key in RegEdit.

Navigate to this string:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Control Panel

If there is a key there called "Homepage" change the value to 1, and restart
IE and try now. If this does not exist, this was done some other way.

If that does not work, try navigating here and following the same as above:
Navigate to this string:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Control
Panel

Hope it helps,

Do you have Spybot - S & D?

If you do, open it.

IE Tweaks
Miscellaneous locks
UNCheck: Lock IE start page setting against user changes (current user)

Hope this helps. Let us know.
