Internet Options access trouble

C

Christiaan

When opening up IE and selecting "tools" then "Internet
Options", I revcieve this message.

"Redtrictions

This operation had been cancelled due to restriction in
effect on this computer. Please contact your system
administrator."

My wife and I share an administrative account. I am not
able to access these options, where she is able to access
them. We went ahead and fooled around with the options
in her settings, but were unable to get me my Internet
options back.

I have run spybot programs and have pop-up blockers. I
have went through MSconfig and turned off everything but
basic service. I have tried restoring my computer to an
earlier date when this problem wasn;t happening.

My question is what do I do to get my options back? I
feel that there may be someone trying to remotly access
my computer, but really have no idea.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

NOTE: If your anti-virus software warns you of a "malicious" script,
this is normal if you have "Script Safe" or similar technology enabled.
These scripts are not malicious, but they do make changes to the System
Registry.
