I would like to know how to connect through the internet
and network my home computer and office computer to work
from home sharing all. I have windows xp home edition on
both computers and also have high speed cable access on b
oth ends.

Purchase a VPN router or SOHO Firewall and you will be able to do this
safely - you may have to upgrade to XP Professional to use resources at
Work. You may also need an IT consultant to configure it for you - about
an hours time to setup and test.
 
Both XP Home and Pro can access domain resources over a VPN. The
difference is that Home cannot be a domain member, thus does not get
Group Policy Objects or Login Scripts to work...
