internet link lost

Im a newbie and I clicked the internet icon and
accidentally disabled it, I dont know how to restore my
connection to the internet. I need help. thanks

What??? Is the icon still on your desktop? Double

leftclick it, do you get an error message?
Try rightclicking it and see if a window opens with
a "Properties" line and click that to see the "path" to
target. If you're "lost" at this point, so are we.
Also, check if you have an internet icon listed in All
Programs. If you do, rightclick it and click "Create
desktop icon"
