internet exployer

I tried to download ad-ware,but internet exployer kept blocking the download.
When the tool bar popped up I clicked download file,but it still would'n
download. Is there any way around this. Thanks

What web-site are you trying to download FROM?

Aside from Shenan's always-trenchant advice (perhaps you are downloading
from a non-official site), it is common that an infested computer will
not be able to download antivirus/antimalware software. If you suspect
that your computer is infected, get all antimalware tools from a
different, known-clean computer with an Internet connection and a cd
burner (or have a usb thumbdrive with enough capacity to transfer the
files.

Here are some malware removal steps that should be followed
systematically for best results:

It has also been described as curt and incomplete..
As well as sometimes a "bit much". *grin*

Sometimes I depend on the OP coming back, answering my question and giving
everyone else more information that may lead to an answer (or for myself -
but I am not greedy when it comes to answering questions - that's for sure!)

posts, even if I don't care about the original issue, because I admire
