Hi all

Today I have been surfing the net as normal but after a few minutes and
after a few web clicks the whole IE7 dissapears to the desktop, If I have a
few windows of IE7 open they all dissapear. I have done a complete system
scan for any problems with Norton Internet Security 2010 - all that came up
was about 40 tracking cookies. I then did a Registry clean and there was a
heap of things found but that is now clean, I did a Defragment of the
registry also. My NIS2010 is using the latest updates. I havnt installed any
new Windows updates, only the ones when I did a clean install of the OS as I
chose what to download ie I didnt download Internet Explorer 8 as I dont
like that version - that was back some three months ago. Im using Internet
Explorer 7, this happens when I am using ebay.com.au I dont know about the
rest of the www.
I will try to delete all temp files for IE7 and all the cookies to see if
that helps.

Is NIS2010 missing something when I do a full system scan (yes I know some
people dont like Norton and im not going to change to program x)? Is there a
free progie out there to fix this?

Thanks all in advance
GK.

you might have to increase
the size of you're the ie
temp folder.

another think you can try
is to uninstall ie and see
if the version it reverts
to is more stable.

another thing you can
try is to boot into safe
mode w/networking
and test the browser.

Did you ever try loading IE in its no add-ons mode and retest?

Did you ever try rebooting into Windows' Safe Mode with networking (to
eliminate all your startup programs) and retest?

WTF Chris. Why are you even posting here. You are a fake and a thief and you will be
that always. Go away and get a life for Christ's sake
