internet explorer

I have 4 user accounts on one computer. Recently only one account is unable to load internet explorer and the error meassage "internet explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close" pops up. All other accounts seem to be able to access the web o.k. using internet explorer. Any suggestions are welcome?

First eliminate any scumware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each needs to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded. There's also a lot more to do than just those two programs.
