When I open Internet Explorer or sometimes change sites,
multi pages begin to open. The task bar fills with "e"
windows. I try to close them as fast as I can but I am not
able to keep up with the rate they are opening.

I have reinstalled IE6 with SR1, but it still happens.
What can I do to stop this?

First eliminate any scumware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each need to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded. There's also a lot more to do than just those two programs.

If trying everything at that site does not fix the problem please post back
in the same thread.
