Internet explorer

Help I have a problem with internet explorer.I will be on
line and I get an Internet explorer error message that
Internet explorer incountered an error and has to shut
down,and gives me the option to send a report to
microsoft,or not.It gives me no info on what the problem
could be.I was thinking of scubbing the hard drive and
starting over but would greatly appreciate any other
options.

Try scanning XP and IE to see if they are in original
version instead of scubbing the hard drive. Open run,
type "sfc /scannow" For XP users. May need XP CD handy for
scanner to compare.
Sometime firewalls cause them. If you have thrid-party
firewall installed, make sure it's not set over protected.
The default protection level will be enough.
