Stacy

I'm not too sure if I'm in the right spot but I'll give
it a try. I'm having major problems with Internet
Explorer and have downloaded every service pack available
to try to fix the problem. I've even went on the
Knowledge DB but can not find the answer.

Here's my problem. I can be browsing the internet, click
on a link to see a picture or another website and all of
a sudden Explorer completely shuts down. I can load
Explorer again, try to go to the exact same website or
picture and the same thing happens. Has anyone else had
this problem and if so, what did you do to fix it??
Please help, it is very frustrating and my husband is
ready to throw the computer out the window!

Stacy-I have this same problem and I've written to this
site 3 times so far today. If you get any help-please
let me know-I sure as heck haven't received any. It
appears to me that this website is a bitching session
about IE-there's been no helpful info given-at least as
far as I can see. IE crashes on me all the time and I'm
ready to smash my computer, also. I've switched to
mozilla at someone's advice because IE sucks. Sorry-I'm
a little peeved right now-I haven't been able to get
anything off the internet today due to this problem.
That message is on my screen right now and if I say send
report or don't send, it will close and I'll lose this
site. I've sent the report to Microsoft dozens of times
to no avail. Good luck.

Check for parasites.

IE 6.

Try this: Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Browsing
Uncheck the Enable 3rd party browser extensions

If this clears your problem then find out who the culprit(s) is/are with
these tools.

you could also check that the site in question is not in your "restricted"
list in internet option/security, as this will cause ie to close without
notice.
