Greetings !

Suddenly....
There are some websites that I can't access - e.g. http://www.soneva-shop.com/

I have BT broadband, but when I try to access that site (and lots of
others), Internet Explorer says I am off-line, and wants me to connect
through my dial-up connection !

I tried disabling all the security functions (firewalls, etc) but still no
joy...

Yes, I know some people HATE Norton Security, but that's what I am using....

(1) WHY is this happening ? Is it some new "update" [sic] that Microsoft
(or Norton)has installed ?

(2) HOW can I prevent this happening, and regain my previous unrestricted
access?

(3) HOW can I prevent this happening again?

Any advice would be welcome - particularly effective advice ;-)

Regards

Robin

Heres what to do , go to the internet Option , click connections,
then go , and click Never dail a connection , go to LAN - click on
Automatically detect setting, ok, to that close it out , now try
those sites again.

Your link works fine with BT Yahoo broadband and Internet Explorer 7. Of
course no Norton products here save for Winfax Pro.

You should say what version of Internet Explorer you are using.

This newsgroup might be a better choice for your problem:

Hope this helps.
