When you click the Internet Explorer icon, window may flash a second and quits. Or, it may show an Error-Reporting dialog. This may be due to a malware Browser Helper Object which causes Internet Explorer process to terminate. If you see the Error-Reporting dialog, click "to see what data this report contains" and identify the Module Name causing this error. In most cases, it may be the spyware DLL. Therefore, reinstalling Internet Explorer [in case of a spyware DLL] may not help.
To test with: Disable third-party browser extensions in Internet
Explorer
1. Click Start, Run, and type inetcpl.cpl.
2. Click the Advanced tab.
3. Under Browsing, clear the Enable third-party browser extensions
(requires restart) check box.
4. Restart Internet Explorer.

-----Original Message-----
When I open my Internet Explorer, or My computer, or C
drive I get the message saying "Internet Explorer has
encountered a problem and needs to shut down". Yet it
will let me continue to whatever it is i want to do. But
it is always in the way.
.
I read your message and I am having the same problem. Not
sure what kind of site this is, but I don't see any
answers or solutions to any of the problems people are
having. Did you get any replies to your problem?
