When I turn my computer on and click IE my homepage starts
to come up but then I get this page that says "this page
cannot be displayed" instead. I click the refresh button
and nothing happens. I try typing some other address in
and I get an error message saying the search page can't be
found. If I open OE and than go back to IE the page opens
like it should. I created a shortcut on my desktop to
connect, and it was connecting automatically after
everything comes up on the taskbar and that is when I can
tell IE isn't going to open right cause it doesn't connect
automatically like it had been doing previously. I don't
know what is causing this and it just started to do this a
couple days ago and I hope someone can tell me why and how
to get it to open like it should as it is beginning to bug
me now.

Hi - try

Tools > Options > Connections Tab,
and change the radio box that says
"Always dial my default connection"
Check out Start > Settings > Control Panel
to ensure your default connection (a) still exists and (b)
is still the default one.
