internet Explorer Won't Open Web Pages

Ok, when I type in a web address, say http://www.msn.com in
the search bar it will say "finding http://www.msn.com.com"
then it will pass that and say "finding
http://www.msn.com.net" then "http://www.msn.com.org" then
"http://www.msn.com.edu" I need to know how to fix this.
And No it's not that i'm hitting Control + Enter. It
address these suffixes to the status bar only not the
Address bar.

Chris,
From what you say, you are typing this in the SEARCH bar...
When you open IE, make sure the URL that is in the ADDRESS
bar is highlighted and then type "msn" w/o the quotes and hold
your CTRL key down and hit enter.. BINGO.... it will fill it in
for you... As for using the SEARCH bar to do this, it sounds like
it is doing EXACTLY what you asked it to do and that is display
RELATIVE URL's...
