Internet Explorer Will Not Open

I have been trying for the past week to get on internet
explorer and it will not open up. It gives me an error
message that says "Internet Explorer has encountered a
problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the
inconvenience". I have tried numerous times to try to
get help to fix this and no one knows what to do. Any
help that you could give me with this situation would be
appreciated. Thanks!

To test with: Disable third-party browser extensions in Internet Explorer
1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
2. Double-click Internet Options.
3. Click the Advanced tab.
4. Under Browsing, clear the Enable third-party browser extensions (requires restart) check box.
5. Restart Internet Explorer.

Try look a bit at the questions asked the last few days. The question has
been up several times.

I have just posted the same error message in this forum and
need help as well.... I would appreciate if you would
forward any solutions to me, and I will do the same for you
should I receive one....

When checking the "details" of this error message, it
indicates "IEXPLORE has caused an invalid page fault in
module KERNEL32.DLL at 017f:bff7a388". I'm not sure if your
"details" of this error message is the same as mine.

I have tried a solution to this exact problem from this
forum and IT WORKED:

1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control
Panel.
2. Double-click Internet Options.
3. Click the Advanced tab.

5. Restart Internet Explorer.
