Internet Explorer will not open any web page after running adaware

I just ran Adaware on my computer. It found several files and removed them.
After finishing, Internet Explorer will open, but it will not open any web
site. Outlook express works fine and I can send and receive e-mail. I have
tried uninstalling and re-installing Internet Explorer through Control Panel.
However it does not work. Any ideas?

First eliminate any scumware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each needs to be updated with the program's update function
before every use, even when just downloaded. There's also a lot more to do
