I have never encountered this before, so obviously I do
not know the fix and it looks as if Microsoft does not
know the answer either since there is nothing in their
knowledgebase. Anyway, if I type in www.microsoft.com, it
comes back with "c:\winnt\system\filenotfound.html?" No
matter what web page I go to, it will not add
the "http://" automatically. However, if I type
in "http://www.microsoft.com" it will take me to the web
page. How do I fix this since IE is embedded in Windows
2000 and I cannot uninstall and make a clean install?
Thanks for any advice!!
