The following Agent Event keeps periodically occurring
but I can not determine if this is a threat or an update
in the software. I have the option to allow or block it
but I have not been able to find enough information to
make an informed decision can anyone tell me what this is?
SEE BELOW:

Occured on: 3/9/2005 at 3:17:16 PM

The user xxxxx, has decided to allow the Internet
Explorer Web Browser () to be added to Internet
Explorer.

About Internet Explorer WebBrowser: The Internet Explorer
WebBrowser contains information and settings about an
instance of Internet Explorer. If these settings are
modified or a new Web Browser is added, this Web Browser
can take over full control of Internet Explorer, add
toolbars, menus, buttons, etc.

Interesting...

I got the very same thing for the first time today since I have been using
the Beta.

If you look at the message literally, it would make you wonder how a browser
can take over a browser.

Here's what Ad-aware has to say about each of the 8 items I mentioned:

TAC Level: 3

A tracking cookie is data stored on your computer in the form of a cookie
and is shared between two or more websites to enable them to track your
movements across the web. This will help them gather information about your
interests and tailor special marketing for you and gather statistics when
visiting their sites. While these tracking cookies are NOT in any way
harmful for your computer you might feel they are an intrusion to your
privacy. Ad-Aware supplies you with the ability to remove these tracking
cookies if you wish to do so.

Correct me if I am wrong, but Dwight here mention that the MS Anti-spyware
was signaling that "the instance of an Internet Explorer Web Browser was
being added to the Internet Explorer Web Browser.

I don't believe that THIS discussion was about cookies this time.

My mistake indeed--I meant that to be an addendum to some other thread,
about cookies.

Is the answer found?

Hello Guys,

Did any one find the answer for this? I am facing the same problem.

Cheers,
Jay.
