internet explorer virus or something else ?????

Hi
in a previous post I said that I had a virus which was stopping me from
opening internet explorer , that is it opens but only in the task bar , I
cannot get it on the screen , I have taken the advice given to me and used
the trend sysclen software but it has found nothing , neither has , ad aware
, Norton , spybot, and MacAfee stinger , ??? could someone tell me is there
such a virus or could it be something else I have done ???
this is driving me mental and I don't want to do a reinstall

How does it behave when you right click it in the task bar ?
Do restore/minimize toggle when selected ?
Could it be offscreen ?
I sometimes have to disable my second graphics card and applications still try to
display within them.

Right-click icon you use to open IE / Properties / Run. Check to make
sure it is not being told to open minimized.

thank you to everyone who tried to help me , it was all my own fault as I
had accidentally dragged it over to the other monitor , which I only use for
flight simming .
