Hi all,

Although my internet explorer says that I installed version 7 (7.0.5730.11),
many websites tell me that I run a old version of IE so I cannot see that
website. I guess something in my registry is messed up. But I don't know
where to look. I run Windows XP Pro SP2.
Same thing happened when I had IE6.

Anyone of you have any clues?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

I guess this is the one!
I installed the User Agent String Utility and websites (for example
www.hotmail.com (after I entered my password) are still not working fine
now. I still got the warning that I have an old version and the website
might not function properly.

My current user agent string is:
Googlebot/2.1 (+http://www.googlebot.com/bot.html (compatible; MSIE 6.0;
Windows NT 5.1; Maxthon; SV1; .Net CLR 1.1.4322)

But at least I have a clue where to search now! Thanks!!

Greetings,

Leo Blaauw
